Polynesia World Productions, Inc. is guided by a dedicated Board of Directors whose combined experience brings cultural authenticity, creative leadership, financial stewardship, operational knowledge, security expertise and a shared commitment to community service.
Chairman Remi Abellira contributes decades of experience in Hawaiian and Polynesian entertainment, film, television, live production and cultural representation. Treasurer Bob Fass provides business judgment, financial oversight and responsible stewardship of the organization’s resources. Secretary Herman “Tito” Rivera contributes leadership, organizational discipline, personal-security experience, property management and rental operations.
Together, the Board provides the creative vision, practical experience and accountable governance needed to advance PWP’s mission in cultural arts, education and cultural exchange, health and wellness, multimedia production and community development.

Remi Abellira Founder & Chairman of the Board
Remi Abellira is a Hawaiian entertainer, actor, musician, producer, cultural ambassador, and the founder of Polynesia World Productions, Inc. Raised in Waikīkī during the 1960s, Remi grew up on the island of Oahu. Waikīkī Beach felt like the community’s backyard and the legendary Beach Boys were trusted members of one extended ohana. Surrounded by Hawaiʻi’s multicultural traditions and three generations of performing artists, he began his professional career as a child actor. Remi appeared in numerous television productions, including Hawaii Five-O, Magnum, P.I., Jake and the Fatman, Birds of Paradise, and America’s Most Wanted just to name a few. His performance in America’s Most Wanted contributed to the program’s historic 100th capture.
Music has remained central to Remi’s life and career. From 1976 through 1980, he performed and was mentored by the legendary Hawaiian entertainer Don Ho and later toured North America for several years. His musical repertoire encompasses Hawaiian music, jazz, blues, soul, country, rock, popular standards, and contemporary music spanning several generations.
Remi’s greatest musical influence was his uncle, celebrated Hawaiian composer and entertainer Kui Lee. Kui’s compositions helped introduce Hawaiian music to audiences around the world and were recorded or performed by artists including Don Ho, Elvis Presley, Andy Williams,, Frank Sinatra and recently by Bruno Mars.
As President and Chairman of Polynesia World Productions, Remi provides cultural leadership, creative direction, and strategic vision. He leads the organization’s performing-arts, educational-exchange, wellness, multimedia, and community-development initiatives while cultivating partnerships with artists, educators, cultural practitioners, entertainment organizations, community leaders, and funding institutions.Through Polynesia World Productions, Remi is committed to preserving Polynesian culture, creating opportunities for future generations, and carrying the Spirit of Aloha into communities throughout Florida and beyond.

Robert M Fass Treasurer & Board Director
Robert M. Fass brings more than three decades of experience in education, counseling, nonprofit leadership, community service, and organizational governance to Polynesia World Productions, Inc.
Robert earned a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Education in 1972, followed by a Master of Education in School Counseling in 1977. He became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 1998.
During his 32-year career in education, Robert served as both a teacher and school counselor, helping students and families navigate academic, personal, and developmental challenges. He also maintained a private counseling practice serving parents and children for eight years.
Robert’s extensive record of civic service includes serving as a founder and board member of Congregation Kehillat Shalom for 14 years, a volunteer firefighter for 10 years, and an elected Fire Commissioner for six years. He also served for four years on the Board of Directors of the Deerfield Beach Kiwanis Club and held several leadership positions within his condominium association, including Vice President, Secretary, and President.As Treasurer of Polynesia World Productions, Robert provides oversight of the organization’s financial activity, budgeting, banking, donations, grants, expenses, reporting, and internal financial controls. He works closely with the Board to promote responsible stewardship and ensure that organizational resources remain aligned with PWP’s nonprofit mission.
His lifelong dedication to education, service, accountability, and community leadership makes him an invaluable member of the Polynesia World Productions Board of Directors.

Herman "Tito" Rivera Secretary & Board Director
Herman “Tito” J. Rivera brings 27 years of distinguished law-enforcement experience, along with extensive expertise in investigations, public safety, personal protection, property management, community relations, and organizational leadership, to Polynesia World Productions, Inc.
During his law-enforcement career, Tito devoted 16 years to undercover investigations and narcotics interdiction. Drawing upon his bilingual abilities and cultural experience, he helped strengthen cooperation between law-enforcement agencies and the communities they served, building trust across cultural and institutional lines.
Tito served with the Essex County Sheriff’s Department and was assigned to the Bureau of Narcotics. As a federally deputized task-force officer and liaison to the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Newark Field Division, he investigated major narcotics offenders, conducted undercover operations, prepared court-authorized listening-device transcripts, and assembled cases for federal prosecution.
He also assisted the United States Secret Service, Customs Service, and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms in investigations involving money laundering, counterfeit currency, and illegal firearms trafficking. His career additionally included assignments with the Essex County Prosecutor’s Major Narcotics Task Force, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office, the Sexual Assault Victims Analysis Unit, and the Rutgers University Police Department.
Following his public law-enforcement career, Tito continued working in security, personal protection, and school safety. He currently maintains private personal-security contracts, providing professional protection services informed by his extensive law-enforcement and investigative background. His responsibilities have included protecting individuals and families traveling within the United States and abroad, providing security for field personnel, and helping maintain safe environments for students, faculty, and staff.
In addition to his public-safety career, Tito is an accomplished short-term rental property operator. He successfully maintains, manages, and leases multiple Airbnb properties, overseeing guest relations, property upkeep, reservations, and the day-to-day responsibilities required to deliver a professional hospitality experience. This work demonstrates his practical strengths in business operations, asset management, customer service, organization, and financial responsibility.
Tito attended Rutgers University–Newark, graduated from the Essex County Police Academy, and earned his high-school diploma in music studies from Arts High School in Newark, New Jersey.
As Secretary of Polynesia World Productions, Tito is responsible for maintaining corporate records, documenting board meetings, supporting regulatory compliance, monitoring organizational filings and deadlines, and helping the Board uphold sound nonprofit-governance practices.
His combination of investigative discipline, business experience, cultural awareness, public service, and commitment to community protection provides important strength and stability to the leadership of Polynesia World Productions.
